The Cambridge History of Postmodern Literature が刊行！巽先生の論文 “Postmodern Japan and global visual culture” が寄稿されています！

本書は四部構成、全 29本の論考が収録。第一部は、18世紀小説勃興期に遡りつつ 1950年代までを辿ります。第二部は、mass meditation /countercultures /new novels /magic realism /theoryを鍵語に「長い 60年代」が照らされ、第三部は、建築/映画/詩/音楽/絵画（あるいは avant-pop /cyberpunk）やジェンダー/ポストコロニアリズム研究から 1973年以降「円熟期」の有様が多角的に描出。第四部は、1989年以後の展開が記されています。

第四部冒頭の巽先生の論文では、1960年代〜 80年代“Postmodern Japan”の諸相が詳述されたうえで、P・T・アンダーソン『マグノリア』(1999) と村上春樹「神の子どもたちはみな踊る」(1999) および『海辺のカフカ』(2002) における海を越えた視覚的共振が論じられています。ご関心のある方は、ぜひご一読ください！
