巽先生が編集委員の一人を務められるアメリカ研究ウェブ雑誌 The Journal of Transnational American Studies (JTAS) の最新号（Volume 10, Issue 1, 2019）が刊行されました！

JTASは、2019年には2回の刊行を予定しています。それは、トランスナショナル・アメリカン・スタディーズの成長を反映するとともに、世界各地での研究成果を共有する場としての責任を果たすためであると、編集長のニーナ・モーガン氏とエリカ・ドス氏は述べています（Editor's Noteより）。

そんな2019年最初の本号は、二つの特集を収録。 "Archipelagoes/Oceans/American Visuality" は、6本の研究論文に加えて、16点あまりの造型芸術やインスタレーション、それらの芸術作品に対する応答の三部から成ります。前号より引き続き、学際的なアプローチによって、環境や社会そして文化に関する先端的な議論が並びます。そして、"Transnational Black Politics and Resistance from Enslavement to Obama" は、編者による序論と5本の論文をとおして、18世紀から現代におよぶブラック・アクティヴィズムを世界規模で考察します。
